Client: Design Village – Portal about design
Design village was born out of the desire to create an International Design Community that offers services and information, as well as being a connecting place for fellow designers and enthusiasts of such a social network.
Intervention Strategy
The project, conceived and developed in Milan by a team of architects and designers, has been able to determine and propose an alternative point of view on the design world, combining within a specific editorial policy, news from the productive world, designers' opinions, thoughts of readers and special issues concerning the main international events.
Creativity
Fine and clean graphics are fundamental for a Portal, which has to make its identity unique and recognizable, through the "sound" of its contents and the chorus of its counterparts. Formal simplicity and primary colors help the use and personal choices that every user takes, by virtue of the dynamic, changeable and scalable layout.
Technologies and Development Tools
The whole vortal can be updated in CMS, it has a back office containing modules of the management pertaining to vital statistics, on-line communication tools and a social network, i.e. the Design Community observed and studied as web of relations, more or less wide and complex.
